“Over The Rainbow” Art Show
February 2nd - May 3rd, 2017
The Nash

The Jazz standard tune “Over The Rainbow” was written by Harlen and Harberg and needs no introduction as famously recorded by Judy Garland… The beautiful theme is about renewal, hope and dreams. The lyric describes:
“Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
There’s a land that I heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday I’ll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me”
